SUMMARY:WISDEMS 2026 State Convention
DESCRIPTION:Learn more about the state convention: \nhttps://wisdems.org/2026convention/ \nFrom the Wisconsin Democratic Party’s Constitution: \nSection 7 -There shall be an annual state convention at such time and place as the state administrative \ncommittee shall determine\, upon at least ninety days written notice to the chairperson of each county. \nDelegates and alternates to such conventions shall be selected by each county on a fair and equitable basis \nof representation within quotas to be determined from time to time by the administrative committee. \nNotice of meetings to select such delegates and alternates shall be as provided in the By- laws. \nUpon receipt of the written and signed petition of at least 20% of the chairpersons of the counties in the \nstate\, the state chairperson shall call a state convention within ninety days and shall give at least sixty \ndays notice the chairpersons of each county unit. Representation at such a state convention shall be on the \nbasis used for the preceding annual state convention.
